Parent Voice

Parent Voice

At St. Matthew’s, we deeply value parental engagement and feedback, as it plays a crucial role in our continuous improvement. We actively encourage feedback throughout the year, and at least twice annually, we distribute a Parent Voice survey to gather insights from all parents. This survey serves as a platform to share the needs of children and families with the school and ensures that your perspectives are heard.

We believe in fostering strong relationships with parents, using their input to guide school-wide improvements. Our goal is to treat parents as active partners in their child’s education, rather than passive recipients of a service. By doing so, we hope to enhance both parental and student engagement with the school.

We engage parents in various ways:

  • Through regular and open communication with form tutors, teaching staff, pastoral teams, and senior leaders.
  • By seeking their opinions through surveys conducted at parents’ evenings and school meetings.
  • By inviting groups of parents to join focus groups where they can discuss and offer feedback on key issues.
