Safeguarding at St Matthew’s
At St Matthew’s, the safety and well-being of our students is our top priority. We are committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment where all students can thrive, learn, and grow. Our trust wide safeguarding policies are designed to protect children from harm and ensure they are treated with the respect and dignity they deserve.
We have a robust system in place to promote safeguarding, including clear procedures for reporting concerns, supporting students in need, and working closely with families, local authorities, and other relevant organizations. Our staff undergo regular safeguarding training and are fully aware of their responsibility to keep students safe from harm, including physical, emotional, and online risks.
We believe in creating a culture where every child feels safe, valued, and supported.
If you have any concerns about the safety or well-being of a student, please contact our designated safeguarding lead Mrs A Lennon Assistant Headteacher.
Together, we can help ensure that every child at St Matthew’s has the opportunity to flourish in a safe and supportive environment.
